Grant Intelligence Platform
My Role:
UX/UI Designer, & AI Workflow Developer
Deliverable:
A fully functional AI-powered web platform featuring automated grant discovery, intelligent categorization, startup-fit scoring, searchable grant database, and an intuitive user interface.
Description:
Designed and built an AI-powered grant intelligence platform using Lovable to automate the discovery, categorization, and prioritization of newly announced SBIR/STTR funding opportunities. The platform helps LaunchTN quickly identify the most relevant grants for startups by reducing manual research and streamlining funding recommendations.
The Problem
LaunchTN works with startups that rely on SBIR and STTR funding opportunities, but discovering new grants is an extremely fragmented and time-consuming process. There is no centralized public database that contains all active SBIR and STTR funding opportunities. Instead, each federal agency and government program publishes its own solicitations on separate websites with different announcement schedules, deadlines, and formats.
Because of this, identifying relevant funding opportunities required manually monitoring dozens of agency websites, searching through multiple portals, and comparing announcements to determine which grants were still active and applicable to the startups LaunchTN supports. The process was inefficient, difficult to scale, and increased the risk of overlooking valuable funding opportunities simply because information was scattered across many sources.
The Solution
To address this challenge, I designed and built an AI-powered Grant Intelligence Platform using Lovable that continuously identifies newly announced SBIR/STTR opportunities, categorizes them by technology area, prioritizes them based on startup fit, and centralizes the information in a searchable, user-friendly interface.
