Description:

NeuroBand is a wearable EEG headband designed to help individuals with chronic stress monitor their brainwave activity in real time and receive app-based feedback as well as personalized strategies to manage their stress.

The Challenge

People living with chronic stress often lack tools to understand or manage their stress effectively.

Key Problems Identified:

  • EEG technology is expensive, bulky, and inaccessible.

  • Most consumer wellness tech (e.g., Oura, Muse) lacks brainwave tracking.

  • Users need daily, real-time feedback—not just retrospective insights.

Defining Research Goals

We aimed to understand how people experience chronic stress, how they currently manage it, and how open they are to wearable solutions.
